I used to feel exceptionally lonely whenever Valentine Day is nearing until an ex-colleague of mine gave me a box of beautifully-wrapped candies on this very special day and, with a huge warm smile, she told me..."Girl, it's Friendship Day for us!"
This year, with lunar New Year day coincidently falling on the same date, a friend wants to spread a little 'love' to her colleagues as well. No flowers. No bears. Only shortbread cookies, chocolate chips and yellow/pink ribbons.
